Today, they’re covering a Johnny Cash classic and it’s one song you don’t want to miss. We’ve all heard the original ‘Daddy Sang Bass’ but you’ve definitely never heard a version quite like this. VoicePlay puts their own spin on this classic and it’s absolutely amazing. I just love how it starts out slow and then when they chorus kicks in, the sound completely changes. There's no doubt that this group can sing but hearing them perform this Johnny Cash tune was beyond awesome.
I just love how all of their voices blend together to produce a sound like no other. There's nothing like hearing a good old-fashioned song and it's even better when it's a cappella. This classic really transports me back in time. And I just can’t get over all of those talented voices. It must take a lot of hard work and practice to perfect a song like this, but these guys pulled it off seamlessly. I hope we get to hear more covers like this in the future!
