Freedom // Spoken Word

This was actually my first spoken word piece to ever write. I wrote it 3 years ago as I was looking back on my spiritual journey and the struggles that come with growing as a Christian. Basically I grew up in the church, my dad has been the worship pastor at my home church for the last 25 years, but going to church and experiencing the freedom of the Gospel don’t always go hand in hand. Like a lot of Christians, it took me awhile to actually realize the magnitude of God’s power and the freedom that only He can give.
