Catechism: "Humiliated in Death," Larger Catechism Q. #49. First Presbyterian Church, Perkasie, Pa
The process of dying is very humbling. We lose our faculties, we lose control of our bodies, we become dependent on others for the basics of life, and soon we lose life itself. As humbling as this is, the death of Jesus was far more humbling. Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows from the Larger Catechism of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church how the death of Christ was a time of incomparable suffering and humiliation. This meditation was given during the Sunday Worship Service of August 22, 2010, at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA (www.firstchurchopc.org), Rev. Richard Scott MacLaren is the Pastor.
