Penrod 2 Trailer
Penrod is a 12 year old boy living in rural TN during 1914. The movie deals greatly with the social expectations that people had for children during this era. Penrod, like most little boys gets himself continually into trouble with his teachers, parents and friends. Penrod often lets his imagination run away with him. After seeing a silent film produced by the temperance society, Penrod's mind is thinking about little else, and when he gets in trouble at school, he uses the plot from the silent film to replace the actual facts about his family. This later backfires and leaves Penrod in a mess of trouble.
