AGT Contestant Ansley Burns Sings 'How Great Thou Art' In An Empty Church

Ansley Burns may only be 12-years-old, but this girl has some serious pipes! Singing ‘How Great Thou Art’ in an empty church, Ansley takes us all to church and we found our heart soaring with praise singing right along with her!

“When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And lead me home, what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow with humble adoration
And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art”

Ansley Burns made headlines as a contestant on America's Got Talent. But her initial audition was almost ruined by a bad song track. Thankfully, judge Simon Cowell gave the young girl a second chance and she blew everyone away with her a cappella performance.

Today, she's taking on one of the most popular songs of all time. 'How Great Thou Art' may be one of our favorite hymns! What a mighty God we serve. When storms rage, we have no fear because God is our fortress and refuge! Who knows what difficult battles are being fought right now, but God knows and He is ready to help us carry the burden. In those darkest moments, we need to raise His name high and give Him the glory for the battle is already won! Amen?

As Ansley leads into the chorus, we are already praising at the top of our lungs! What a beautiful voice and such an amazing God-given talent in someone so young!

“Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee
How great Thou art, how great Thou art”

May we always remember to lift up His name and praise even when it feels like we are in the darkest of places. It’s in those times, our weakness, that God is able to be our strength and give us the extra encouragement to continue forward! We hope that your soul is overflowing with praise today just like young Ansley Burns!
