15-month-old Owen Montoya was born deaf. But that hasn't stopped this sweet boy from living his best life. Today, Owen is getting an amazing surprise as he recently underwent surgery in Phoenix, Arizona, to place a cochlear implant in his left ear.

Just watch the heartwarming moment when the implant is turned on and Owen is able to hear for the very first time. He immediately lights up and starts to smile from ear to ear. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Later, Owen's mom hooked him implant up to her phone via bluetooth and let Owen get his first taste of music. This little cutie starts to dance all around and his joy is seriously contagious. He moves his head up and down to the music and everyone around him is bursting with happiness.

It's so sweet to watch this special moment unfold right in front of our eyes. I'm so glad that Owen is able to experience some of life's amazing sounds and now this memory is recorded and can be cherished for years to come.
