Family Thanks Delta Flight Attendant Who Found Doll Left On Plane

One family is forever grateful to a kind Delta flight attendant who returned their daughter’s beloved doll. Children often become attached to a particular toy or item. They will carry the object everywhere they go and it can even act as a form of comfort.

Morgan Rich was traveling to Hawaii with her family and she had her favorite doll, Dolly, with her on the plane. Her mother explained the relationship by saying, “Dolly has been Morgan’s constant friend her whole entire life.” So when Morgan accidentally left Dolly on the airplane, it would have been devastating to the young girl.

Thankfully, flight attendant Shalani noticed the doll on the seat. She knew that this must be a very loved object and she wanted to return her to her rightful owner. Shalani went out of her way to track down the family and find out that they were getting on a connecting flight. That’s when she decided to surprise The Rich family by buckling Dolly into a seat on the plane so that she was waiting when Morgan boarded.

The family was overjoyed to be reunited with Dolly and they wanted to thank the kind lady who went above and beyond her duties. So, Delta airlines told Shalani that she would be filming a training video, but in reality, the family was there with a heartfelt surprise.

Standing in front of teary-eyed Shalani, Morgan said, “The world is a better place with you making a difference one act of kindness at a time.” I think we can all agree with this statement.
