'It's Gonna Be May' Quarantine Parody From The Holderness Family

The creative and hilarious Holderness family made another quarantine parody video that goes to the song ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’ by *NSYNC. The family called their rendition of the song ‘It’s Gonna Be May.’

“We are sick of wearing sweats, but it isn’t over yet
You want to go shopping again, not happenin’
When will they go back to school, or maybe play at the pool
Guess what? It’s gonna be May”

Penn Holderness is singing the majority of the song as he is dancing around in his pantry, bedroom, driveway, and really, just all over his house. It sure is comical to watch and will definitely put a smile on your face!

As Penn continues on with the song, he talks about some of the new things that him and his family are doing during this quarantine. Some of those things include going on 90-minute walks with his wife, catching his 13-year-old actually reading a book, forgetting how to drive a car, and really needing a haircut. When he finishes each verse, he says that “it’s gonna be May” before things get back to normal.

“Or June…or July…you know…” says Kim, his wife. “Honey, with the dancing. Stop, stop, it’s a lot.”

The couple ends their parody video with a compilation of bloopers that are sure to make you laugh.

“The longer this goes, the more Penn's hair looks like Andrew Jackson,” the Holderness family wrote under this video on YouTube. “We know social distancing is hard. #StayHome and laugh #WithUs - we will be making songs, skits, and vlogs to keep you smiling!”

It is great to see that this family is keeping their spirits up with humor and are inviting us all to do the same. When times get tough, laughter is indeed the best medicine to make it through!
