While cell coverage and wireless accessibility are important utilities today, being connected to the Origin of one’s life is a spiritual utility that is vital for the expansion of Christ’s community. Connectivity and community…our discipleship needs both. But who is Christ’s community connected to? Simply put, Christ himself. He is the One working out life through us. Kingdom productivity is intimately dependent upon Him abiding with us…which begins with us abiding with Him. Remain, stay, abide…when those verbs are linked with Jesus He produces fruit through us. Such fruit displays our level of connectivity. Fruit that is ripe, sacrificial, and reliant on God displays the qualities of Jesus Himself. May our assembly together draw us to assess our connection…and may we draw even closer to Him!
