Captain Jonathan Silk
This is an interview with Captain Jonathan Silk, who was seriously wounded in Iraq on April 9, 2004. After surgery to replace his mitral valve, he has made a miraculous recovery and is now competing in a Half-Ironman event in New Orleans on April 5, 2009, almost 5 years to the day after his injury. He is participating in this event to not only raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project, but to represent his fellow wounded service men and women who are unable to represent themselves in such an event as this. To donate to the Wounded Warrior Project and help support Capt. Silk in his endeavor to give back to this very noble cause, click on the following link: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=272436&lis=1&kntae272436=BF31DD07479245A2B52CEC383032B4A7&supId=246262312

If we pursue the things of this world, then it is pointless. We will be chasing after temporary pleasures that lead us nowhere with purpose.
