We Are Humans - All Of Us

We Are Humans - All Of Us

We are humans. We are different at some superficial levels. We come from different places, we have different traditions and our beliefs might vary. Our skin color might be different, and our histories tell differing tales. We may live in different places both geographically and socially. That which we hold as important might not be entirely the same, and the position within which life has placed us might give us a different view of things. But we are human. We all want to be loved. We all seek meaning and purpose. We wish the world to be a peaceful place where everyone has a place. We want our journey to be meaningful, and those who join us in it to find meaning as well. We hope. We dream. We aspire. We grieve. We are humans. There is far more that binds us together than that which drives us apart. We have far more in common than we realize. And it would seem important to look past the lesser things to see the humanity in each of us.

"Then God said, 'Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.'"
- Genesis 1:26
