I am so amazed at how much God loves us dispite ourselves. One day I was feeling really down on myself and the Lord spoke to me and said. Ray, if I can love you with all your faults and misgivings, can't you learn to love yourself a little more? That stunned me and made me think if I didn't love myself, how could I love my neighbor. And it was this conversation with the Holy Spirit that inspired this song. He is an awsome God!
