Father-Daughter Duo Strut Their Stuff In ‘Boogie Wonderland’ Video
One talented father and daughter duo showed off their impressive moves and 70s-style clothing while mouthing the lyrics and dancing to a hit by Earth, Wind & Fire in a hilarious clip.
Sadly, social media is often a place perpetually full of hate, profanity and falsehoods. Most people would likely agree that social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok have made people meaner and angrier. However, despite the negativity that litters social media, it’s still possible to find good, clean and even hilarious videos and moments.
Ben and Zara, a father-daughter duo, are two people who are helping to make those social media platforms a little less negative and hateful. In a clip posted on Instagram, Ben and Zara joined forces with Sooshi Mango – a comedic trio – for a video.
The short video starts with Ben and Zara in a car, staring into the vehicle’s rearview mirror. Seconds into the video, “Boogie Wonderland” by Earth, Wind & Fire starts playing, and Zara begins mouthing the words. Moments later, Zara is joined by her father.
The video then cuts to an odd and unexpected location – a kitchen. In the room, with the memorable song still playing, the guys from Sooshi Mango, while wearing dresses, wigs and even pearls, stir pots in a rhythmic motion as they sing and dance along to the tune.
Ben and Zara appear back on screen, hopping around, dancing and mouthing the catchy lyrics from the 1970s.
Ben, keeping up with the time era in which the song was released, dons a brightly-colored orange shirt, bell-bottom pants and even platform shoes.
It’s a video full of fun, a terrific, memorable tune and some questionable fashion choices. Your mood will instantly improve after viewing this short clip. You can never go wrong when listening to Earth, Wind & Fire!
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
