Grace Amazing’ MercyMe Live Performance - Christian Music Videos

One of the biggest bands in the Christian music scene, MercyMe, gives a stunning live performance of “Grace Amazing,” a song about God’s remarkable and life-saving grace.

The world is a lost and dying place filled with people living in sin and shame. However, despite all the willful disobedience, God sent His only son to die a horrible and undeserving death on the cross. 

Now, because of God’s love, mercy and grace, we have the chance at everlasting life with Him. God’s amazing grace, shown to all of mankind, has and is still changing and saving lives.

In front of a packed crowd, MercyMe sings about God’s amazing grace. 

The song wastes no time explaining the power of God's incredible, life-changing grace. The opening verse details this gift of grace.

“It’s the calm within the thunder and the rain
It's the end of all my shame
It’s the love that knows my name
It’s a pace beyond all understanding”

The second verse also adds that God’s grace does not wait for us to clean up or to become better versions of ourselves. No, instead, it “meets us where we are.” God’s grace reaches out to people in their lost and sinful state. 

As can be heard in the video, thousands of people sing along with the band. Also, many in the crowd raise their hands up, praising God for this precious gift of grace.  

Without this gift of grace from the creator of the universe, man would be entirely and utterly lost. There would be no hope. People would have to live out their days covered in their sin and shame. 

But because of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and the blood spilled, which blots out sin and erases it as if it never happened, everlasting life is a possibility. God’s love, mercy and grace are powerful and life-changing gifts indeed.
