This Light
This is a 2-part poem. the first part is a character who is losing faith, & considering suicide as an option. He feels God has forgotten about him. He looks around as he see's his fellow christians fall from the faith. The 2nd character is offering hope through seeking Christ, not just following some hand-me-down religion __________________ I have been following Christianity all my life, but did'nt realize i wasn't following Christ, Himself. I was suicidally depressed. I knew religion, but did not realize the depth of God's love for me. I followed all the "rules" & got nowhere but further into my darkness
