Mt Hope - Indonesia - Short
Mount Hope Training Centre is a Foundation established in 1998 to help the poor amongst the Dayak Tribal People, both practically and spiritually. The focus is training young people in a holistic manner.
The vision for the project includes: a children’s home, kindergarten, primary school, junior and senior high schools, medical clinic, bible school, hospital and university. Along side these, the project aims to become as self sufficient as possible and has vegetable and fruit gardens, a fish farm and a bakery.
Currently there is a two class Kindergarten, a six class Primary School and a children’s home housing approximately 130 children.
The immediate plans for the future is the building of the junior and senior high school. These will include libraries, computer suites, science rooms, teacher resource rooms.
