Fielding Objections to the Christian Faith
In this conversation I was confronted with some of the mostly deeply-rooted and recent $%$ions to the Christian faith. These flavors of @#%ions are popping up on Comedy Central, sitcoms, political commentaries, and even comic strips. Like never before, the Christian needs to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in him or her (1 Pet 3:15). If we remain silent, the rocks of Satan's minions will cry out and douse people in lies until they are spiritually gaunt. A new wave of anti-Christianism has already spilled into the US and it's not letting up.
Christian, are you taking time to hear people out and ask them the tough questions? Are you boldly telling the gospel instead of waiting for that perfect opportunity when the unbeliever comes weeping into your arms, begging for a gospel presentation?
My hope and prayer is that these videos do more than encourage you. I hope that by them you can see that if you are armed with the Word of God and walking in the power of the Spirit of God, you too can defend and share the gospel. To not do so is to sin against Jesus who gave His life for you.
For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels (Mark 8:38)
This guy Bryan was incredibly candid, funny, quite sarcastic (which frankly doesn't bother me), and as you can see, the conversation ended in laughing frustration on both sides.
Some of the !@$#ions he tossed onto the table include:
* It makes no sense to believe in God if you cannot see Him.
* The Bible tells us not to murder but God murders all sorts of women and children in the Bible.
* Why do you make up "God" as the reason for everything? That's random and completely fictional.
* Our advanced discoveries in evolution have removed the necessity for God.

A Prayer to See God's Word as a Personal Invitation Each Day - Your Daily Prayer - May 4
Reading the Bible is much more than a to-do list or a self-help book. It is coming to the living and active Word of God to be transformed.
