Job 3:25 -6 (HCSB) For the thing I feared has overtaken me, and what I dreaded has happened to me. I cannot relax or be still; I have no rest, for trouble comes.

Job opened the hedge to Gods protection on earth not God in heaven.

Romans 3:27 (NKJV) Paul - Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.

Unknowingly Job broke the New Testament law of faith by surrendering to fear. Job no longer believed in God's will or ability to look after his stuff.

Job 1:9 -10 (NET) Then Satan answered the Lord, Is it for nothing that Job fears God? Have you not made a hedge around him and his household and all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his livestock have increased in the land.

Job 1: 12 (KJV) And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

God had put a hedge of protection around Job, but Job had opened a door for Satan to harm him. Apparently, at first, Satan didn't even know that he could get at Job. Even after the door was open, Satan still wouldnt go through the door without God's permission. Satan was still scared too. Why did God tell Satan about the door?

Hebrews 6:18 (NET) it is impossible for God to lie.

John 17:17 (NET) Jesus your (Gods) word is truth.
