8-year-old opera singer Shanaia Vasquez Brady was in for the surprise of her life when her idol joined her on stage for a duet.

Shanaia is a talented opera singer in Australia. Her vocal talent is well beyond her age and many have called her a child prodigy.

Today, Shanaia is appearing on the popular television program, Little Big Shots. This show gathers talented children from all around the globe to showcase their unique gifts.

First, Shanaia sat down for an interview with the host. Within moments, she had the entire audience laughing with her hilarious personality and sweet demeanor.

Along the way, she mentioned that her all-time favorite singer was Mirusia Louwerse. Mirusia is a famous Soprano opera singer in Australia. Also known as “The Angel Of Australia,” Mirusia taped a special message for Shanaia during her appearance.

She stated that even though she couldn’t be there in person, she was wishing her all the best on her performance. That’s when Shanaia stepped up onto the stage for an incredible opera song.
