Men's Choir Sings 'Amazing Grace' A Cappella

Worship along as the a cappella men of Vocal Point perform the classic hymn ‘Amazing Grace.’

Authored by John Newton, this beloved hymn was written as a way of giving thanks to the Lord after God granted John new life. As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions.

But one day at sea, John found himself caught in the middle of a terrible storm. John spent hours at the helm of the ship battling the waves and his thoughts started to turn to God.

After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving the Lord. The beautiful words of ‘Amazing Grace’ were inspired by this incredible moment of self-revelation.

“Amazing Grace,
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see”

Today, the talented men of Vocal Point are putting their own spin on this beloved Christian classic. You may recognize this all-male choir for their viral covers of famous hymns such as ‘It Is Well,’ ‘What A Beautiful Name’ and other secular songs.

Now, they are belting out the words to ‘Amazing Grace’ with the help of their friends. Just listen as they proclaim the power of our King with this stunning a cappella performance.

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
