Old Church Choir' - Zach Williams Performs At Harding Prison

Grammy-award winning Zach Williams is back with another moving song from his “Live at Harding Prison” album. The Christian musician is Jonesboro, Arkansas where he also serves as a worship leader in his church. He and his wife share a heart for those who are incarcerated and may feel that their options for redemption are limited. Zach is a part of Men of Valor, a group who travel to various prisons to share the the love of Jesus Christ and discipline those who have given their life to Him. They share that their goal is to help these men who will re-enter society be “men of integrity”.

The lyrics of his song, “Old Church Choir” are an encouraging reminder that God isn’t finished in the church. Revival can happen and is happening for those that truly seeks Him. Once we have that joy in Christ, it cannot be taken by bad decisions, circumstance, or environment. It’s deep inside and hopefully welling up and spilling over into our lives!

“Old Church Choir,
There's revival, and it's spreading,
Like a wildfire in my heart,
A Sunday morning, Hallelujah,
And it's lasting all week long.

Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
It's the rhythm of a gospel song,
Oh once you choose it, you can't lose it,
There ain't nothing,
There ain't nothing gonna steal my joy”

The video shows Zach singing along with a traditional robed choir in the background. There is something so comforting about a small Southern church worshipping and encouraging together! It truly makes us want to get up and clap along. The chorus carries an anthem that we all wish would repeat over and over throughout our day:

“I've got an Old Church Choir singing in my soul,
I've got a sweet salvation and it's beautiful,
I've got a heart overflowing 'cause I've been restored,
There ain't nothing gonna steal my joy,
No there ain't nothing gonna steal my joy”
