Teen Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Returns To America's Got Talent Stage

14-year-old Darci Lynne Farmer quickly shot to fame after winning the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent in 2017. After earning the coveted golden buzzer during her first audition, this singing ventriloquist easily won over the hearts of America with hilarious routines combined with a talented singing voice.

She introduced us to characters such as Petunia, Oscar and Edna. Week after week, she blew everyone away with her ability to sing difficult songs while operating the puppets. That incredible multi-tasking talent is what really sets Darci Lynne apart.

Since her victory, this teen has continued to share her talents all over the country with many shows and performances. Now, she’s returning to the Got Talent stage as a competitor on ‘America's Got Talent: The Champions.’ This special format features 50 contestants who have won or been featured on previous editions of the show. These competitors come from all over the world and now they’re all vying for the ultimate winner’s title. This time, Darci Lynne brought her friend Oscar along and they’re giving a stunning performance of Nutbush City Limits” and “Proud Mary.”

“Big wheel keep on turnin'
Proud Mary keep on burnin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river
Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river”

This teen ventriloquist belts out the words of this soul song with ease as Oscar sings along too. It’s obvious that the judges and audience were loving this audition and I think we’re going to be seeing a lot more of her this season. Who are you rooting for on this edition of America’s Got Talent?
