Confirmation Q and A with Bishop Burbidge
Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist are the three Sacraments of Initiation. Confirmation is the sacrament in which the Holy Spirit comes to us in a special way to join us more closely to Jesus and His Church and to seal and strengthen us as Christ’s witnesses. (Catechism 1285, 1316)
In order to help the Confirmandi prepare for confirmation, The Diocese of Raleigh has provided a video of questions that the they are expected to know prior to receiving the sacrament. The video presentation features Bishop Michael F. Burbidge and twenty-six students from the Diocese of Raleigh discussing the questions and answers.
The video, which is available below, provides an opportunity for parents, sponsors and all Catholic faithful to review basic teaching of our faith.
