July 05, 2009 A Leader...Knows how to handle criticism Part 1
It is interesting to notice how much the tongue is used by Nehemiah's enemies. They bring criticism, ridicule, threats, gossip, slander, and lies. Satan does more damage with the tongue than we realize. Nehemiah fought back on his knees. He worked hard, stayed focused, and would not be distracted. He was a man of courage, made wise decisions, and would not give up. As a result they completed the task and won the victory. We can learn much from Nehemiah on how to handle the enemy.
