Do the Difficult on Purpose
After a trip to Lake Tahoe I found a souvenir mug with the rankings of ski slopes. The most difficult slope being called a black diamond (at least that was what it said on the mug). Not being a skier I pondered why anyone would do the most difficult on purpose. The Lord turned it into a devotional thought offering encouragement for life’s difficulties, especially in areas of my marriage. See the story about this trip at www.byfaithministries.org. My prayer is that you will allow God to stretch your character to "Do the Difficult on Purpose." Our Lord did that for us; we should do it for one another.
