VALLEY OF DRY BONES (Based on Ezekiel 37, Written by Roger Batin)

Desolation all around, suddenly swept up, feet off the ground
In the midst of a valley dry, a sea of bones as far as meets the eye

Son of man can these bones survive? "Only God knows" my cool reply
Talk to them now, hear what I say, these dried up bones are gonna dance today

So let the words I speak now come and move your core
Let the breathe of life revive and fill your soul
You were dead to rights, divided, scattered with nowhere to go
But one day we shall be one

And then I saw on the dry bones, flesh skin and tendon began to grow
Sudden rattling, they began to shake, and in my shoes I began to quake

Still something missing not yet revived, 'til filling the valley came the breathe of life
Now a dancing army to serve and thrive, out of the graves and fully alive

So let the words I speak now come
