Team World Korea - WORLD CUP - 8
Did the Korean people even consider the possibly that the 2002 World Cup, being played on Korean soil, would unite all the free democratic Koreans in the south, and throughout the world? The entire nation transformed into a sports stadium. Was there even a plan to use the 2002 World Cup for the sake of unification and peace? This month long event generated enough peace-loving energy to influence a generation of children. Children around the age of 12 to 15 years old are now sitting in my university class, with little or not thoughts about peace. They should be leading the cheer for world peace. What happened?
