Recieving God's Grace in Vain
There is no better time to respond to the grace of God than today. We cannot be too optimistic about tomorrow, because we do not know what tomorrow has in store for us. It is enough that we have the present time to ponder on the grace of God and be saved. In his epistle, the apostle Paul urged believers to be more circumspect, saying, "As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says, 'In the time of my favour I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:1-2).
