'Be A Light' Cover From Rise Up Children's Choir Featuring GENTRI

Be reminded of the power of kindness with this stunning performance of ‘Be A Light’ from GENTRI and The Rise Up Children’s Choir.

Country star Thomas Rhett wrote ‘Be A Light’ back in 2019 alongside Josh Miller, Josh Thompson and Matt Dragstrem. But, after the COVID-19 pandemic and continuing fight against racial injustice, he felt led to release the inspiring song sooner than planned.

“In a world full of hate, be a light
When you do somebody wrong, make it right
Don't hide in the dark, you were born to shine
In a world full of hate, be a light”

Now, the talented men of GENTRI are putting their own spin on this power ballad.

GENTRI, which is short for “The Gentlemen Trio” was established in June 2014.

The group is comprised of three dynamic tenors: Brad Robins, Casey Elliott, and Bradley Quinn Lever. Today, they’re sharing the stage with an amazing group, The Rise Up Children’s Choir and Easton Shane.

You may even recognize this kid’s choir. The Rise Up Children’s Choir is open to kids age 6 through 18 and they perform songs from every genre of music such as covers of ‘Down To The River To Pray’ and ‘You Say.’

Now, these two groups are coming together to belt out these powerful words we all need to hear right now.

“In a place that needs a change, make a difference
In a time full of noise, just listen
'Cause life is but a breeze, better live it
In a place that needs a change, make a difference”

John 8:12 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
