Blind Singer Matt McLaren Stuns The Judges With 'All Of Me' Piano Audition
A blind singer on Australia’s Got Talent named Matt McLaren stuns the judges with his piano audition of ‘All Of Me’ by John Legend.
“What would I do without your smart mouth? Drawing me in, and you kicking me out
You've got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down
What's going on in that beautiful mind, I'm on your magical mystery ride
And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright”
Matt McLaren is 27 years old and has been blind since birth. But since the young age of three, Matt knew that music was his calling. And growing up in a small town, Matt was easily recognizable and well known, not just because of his visual impairment but his sheer musical talent.
“It’s the one thing I think I’m good at. It’s always been just a very natural thing for me to do, I guess,” says Matt to the judges before he starts his audition. “When I’m playing keys, it’s like nothing else really matters. It’s fantastic. It’s the best.”
As soon as Matt starts singing and playing the keyboard, he gets an immediate round of applause from the audience. He even brought tears to some of the judges’ eyes. What a talented musician!
“I feel like someone just dropped kicked me in the heart. It was unbelievable! It was so emotional,” says one of the judges after Matt’s performance. “The way you sang it was beautiful. It’s one of my favorite songs, and it was lovely for me. Thank you.”
“You have filled this room with love, and I cannot thank you enough,” says another judge to Matt. “It’s a yes for me.”
He then proceeds to get yeses from the rest of the judges and is on to the next round of Australia’s Got Talent!

A Prayer for God to Be Your Shield and Portion Today - Your Daily Prayer - May 24
I love this passage in the Bible because it sums up the spiritual reality in all difficult circumstances. How many times do we see the enemy and opposing forces against us, just like Elisha’s servant? And that puts us in a panic - yet the angelic armies of the Living God are unseen but present nonetheless, and far greater. We just need to see that substantial truth!
