Confirmation Q and A with Bishop Burbidge Part 5
Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist are the three Sacraments of Initiation. Confirmation is the sacrament in which the Holy Spirit comes to us in a special way to join us more closely to Jesus and His Church and to seal and strengthen us as Christ’s witnesses. (Catechism 1285, 1316)
In order to help the Confirmandi prepare for confirmation, the Diocese of Raleigh has provided a video of questions and answers that the they are expected to know prior to receiving the sacrament. The video presentation features Bishop Michael F. Burbidge and twenty-six students from the Diocese of Raleigh discussing the questions and answers.
The video provides an opportunity for parents, sponsors and all Catholic faithful to review basic teaching of our faith.

A Prayer for God to Be Your Shield and Portion Today - Your Daily Prayer - May 24
I love this passage in the Bible because it sums up the spiritual reality in all difficult circumstances. How many times do we see the enemy and opposing forces against us, just like Elisha’s servant? And that puts us in a panic - yet the angelic armies of the Living God are unseen but present nonetheless, and far greater. We just need to see that substantial truth!
