Sermon: Counting Your Chickens.... Part 2

A wise adage to young farmers is good advice for all of us: don't count your chickens before they are hatched! There is always a temptation to get ahead of ourselves, to dream big dreams and have great expectations about what we can accomplish. Unfortunately, in the real world, there are many things to frustrate those dreams and to caution us against pride. King David found that out the hard way. His pride got the better of him, and he paid a bitter price for it. Yet, God revealed his grace to David and to us in a powerful way through his experiences.
