Why did people in the Old Testament live so long?
Though we do not know exactly there are some possible reasons why people in the Old Testament lived so long: (1) God made Adam and Eve physically perfect and their genetic information would have been more pure, (2) it is possible that there was a canopy of water surrounding the earth, and (3) Genesis 6:3 may be a prophecy regarding the coming of the flood.
