This is a non-professional reading of the Gospel of Luke, which is one of the four Gospels found in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Luke was a highly educated doctor in the time of Jesus. While he himself was not an eye-witness to the story of Jesus, he got all his information from eye-witnesses who had known Jesus intimately during his time on earth. Here he is writing an orderly account of the things that happened while Jesus was on earth and he has sent it to a person he obviously holds in high regard whose name was Theophilus.
