Parking Lot Dance Crew Let Bystander Join Their Epic Dance Number

Enjoy some joy and feel the fun in this video where one talented parking lot dance crew lets a bystander join in their epic dance number!

What is it about street dancers and performers that grabs our attention? It may be the novelty of seeing folks out sharing their gifts in unusual places; many never see that unless they are traveling. It could be the impressive nature of the acts being performed. Perhaps, it is the spontaneity of the event itself.

This batch of about a dozen young men are gathered together, and two of them break into a dance routine to a remix of Diddy (a.k.a. Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, et. al.) tunes. The entire group is feeling the rhythm and clearly having fun, but only two are executing the body-twisting and mind-blowing moves. Their knees may one day pay for the punishment. In the meantime, they are having a blast, completely unaware of Diddy’s heartbreak that is the subject of his romantic woes referenced in the song.

At about 20 seconds, we see a man in jeans and a pair of work boots, a light cap, and a t-shirt. He’s got a pair of sunglasses hanging at his neck. Maybe he's on vacation? Maybe it's the end of a hard day at work?

In any case, the middle-aged man comes out of the Wawa and obviously notices the young athletes doing a jig that’s anything but a cha cha! And, it looks like he’s intrigued by what’s going on. It’s then that a couple in the group notice him!

One waves the new guy toward the group, and, momentarily, the pair dancing in unison have parted and invited him to join in. He makes a good-natured effort, but his footwear is a bit weighty. Now, everyone is bouncing up and down and arms are raised in the air. It is just a joyful moment!

What a blessing it is to have moments of impromptu fun! No planning or preparation. No cost. The dancers and their young crowd were free from inhibition or burdens in that moment, and the gentleman couldn’t help being attracted to that. Good for them, and good for him!

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
