Redeemed Quartet Sings 'Leaning On The Everlasting Arms'
‘What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.’
Josh and Caleb Koble and Ben and Nate Duncan make up the Redeemed Quartet. These two sets of brothers have been friends for years but now they have taken that friendship to a whole new level. This talented quartet uses their God-given voices to sing praises to His Name.
Today, they are taking on the classic hymn ‘Leaning On The Everlasting Arms’ and it’s truly a spirit-filled performance.
‘Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.’
On YouTube, the group shared the message behind the powerful words. “Have you known tremendous pain in your life? Do you bear the weight of rejection, loss, or the inability to be ""good enough""? GOOD NEWS! There's a place of refuge in the everlasting arms of your Heavenly Father!”
What a blessing to sing these joyful words for all of the world to hear. We are truly safe in the arms of the Lord and that is a wonderful place to be, indeed!
Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
