The most obvious things are often the most difficult to comprehend. There is a Chinese proverb that says, "if you want to know about water, don't ask a fish." Paul in this passage is communicating what is truly wise and whose judgment we should understand clearly. It is vitally important for us to recognize what is real wisdom and what is real judgment!
