ATN Aries MK 350 Night Vision Test (front yard)
Short test of an ATN Aries MK 350 weapons sight I did in my front yard. It was very cloudy so there was no moon/star light, just the IR illuminater. Most of the items in view are within 50-70 yards.
The MK 350 has 2.5x magnification, but everything looked closer since I had my camcorder zoomed in on the weapon sight. The image is MUCH clearer when you view the MK 350 directly without the camcorder. The cam used to film is a JVC Everio GZ-MG70.
Overall I like the MK 350 a lot. ATN says the MK 350 is a "Gen1 ". I would rather have a Gen2 but I can't afford one. So far I've used this scope to shoot a boar hog and a rabbit. I'll try to post a better review of the scope when I get a chance.
