This is exactly what happened in this video when the groom first spotted his bride at the end of the aisle walking toward him. He was so taken back by her beauty and the magnitude of the moment, that he could not hold back his tears.

The groom had to turn his back to the crowd for just a second to compose himself, while his best man patted him on the shoulder. As his bride approaches, he is seen wiping away his happy tears.
