Lord, we know that two are better than one. This is your design. Help us to truly lift one another up as you have created us to do.

May we rejoice over one another and in turn, rest in the knowledge that You, God, rejoice over us as your children.

Bible Verses about Relationships
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

13. Ephesians 4:29
“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Ephesians 4:29

“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body."Ephesians 5:21-30
Lord, may we joyfully submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. May we love like Jesus.

Lord, when we come to places of disagreement, as all marriages encounter, remind us that our enemy is not flesh and blood. Our enemy is not our spouse. We wrestle against the rulers and principalities of evil. Grow us in unity and together in Christ.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” Philippians 2:3-7
Lord, help us to not do anything out of selfish ambition. Give us humble hearts toward one another, not looking to our own interests, but to the interests of our spouse. Give us the mind of Christ.
