The Hillsong Church began in Australia and there are few Christians who haven’t heard of them or the songs produced by the worship band Hillsong United. Hillsong United began producing songs in 1992 and continue to travel around the world uplifting fans and congregations. Vocalists have included Marty Sampson, Holly Dawson, Michelle Fragar, Bec Mesiti, Darlene Zschech and Jonas Myrin. Whether you sang “Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble” at camp growing up in the 1990’s or have been recently captivated by “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” as I have, Hillsong has produced some amazing worship music that has successfully broken barriers in the Christian music world.

There are so many other Hillsong songs that I love and it depends on which songs you became familiar with first. The style of music has changed a bit through the years and the biggest differences I have noticed come from using newer technology.
