Tauren Wells, Famous for Christian Music, Stops Off At Cracker Barrel To Help Fan With Proposal

Tauren Wells is famous for his uplifting Christian music. But today, he's helping his fan Josh with a surprise proposal at Cracker Barrel.

At the start of the clip, Tauren Wells introduces himself while standing in front of a Cracker Barrel in Phoenix, Arizona. He shares about how he is about to go be a part of the amazing moment of a proposal.

Josh proposed to Rebekah and her daughter on the front porch of the Cracker Barrel. It's where the couple just so happened to meet by chance one fateful day. Neither had been looking for love, but it's just what they ended up finding alongside their servings of comfort food! 

Inspiring Love Story Of Josh Rivera And Rebekah Facciuto

Josh Rivera was sitting in a rocking chair waiting for a table, when Rebekah happened to sit down in the chair next to him. The two struck up a conversation together and decided to continue it over lunch -- together.

"It was an instant connection," Josh recalled.

The impromptu date was the start of something special. 

"After we had lunch together, I had the weirdest feeling – I missed Rebekah right away," Josh explained. "I had never felt that way about someone I had just met before. I prayed, 'Please let me know this person, even if it doesn't go anywhere, please give me the privilege of knowing this person because I really like who she is.'"

God certainly answered this prayer! Rebekah Facciuto and Josh Rivera kept in touch and continued talking on the phone. Their relationship blossomed and grew until one year later, Josh brought Rebekah and her daughter, Elise, back to Cracker Barrel so he could propose. And of course, Josh got some help from Tauren Wells who is famous for his Christian Music.

Tauren says when Josh proposed to her daughter, he cried. When he proposed, Tauren Wells, who is famous for his Christian music, was in the background singing a song live. At first, Rebekah did not notice that it was actually him.

Tauren says, “Anytime you can step into someone else’s story it’s important.” At the end of the video, Tauren gives Josh and Rebekah a Care It Forward challenge. He encourages them to wake up every day and make the decision that they are here to serve and love the other person. 

Tauren’s words remind us the true meaning of marriage is to display the sacrificial love of Christ to one another and be witnesses to the world of His great love.

Rebekah and Josh Rivera married in on September 5, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. They later recited handwritten vows to one another from a hot air balloon!

Just a few months later, the couple shared some exciting news -- they were expecting! And can you guess where they had the baby shower or Rebekah? That's right, Cracker Barrel!

The couple welcomed their sweet baby boy in August of 2022
