Jesus As The Fulfillment Of Expectations In Jewish Festivals:
• Feast of Tabernacles – "When the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near" John
7:2. "On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink'" John 7:37. "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, 'I am the light of the world'" John 8:12.
• Feast of Dedication – "Then came the Feast of Dedication at Jerusalem" John
10:22. "I am the good shepherd" John 10:11.
1. He Knows His Sheep – "The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out" John 10:3.
