Pass It On
Pass It On, by the Maranatha Singers, became an inspiration in my growing years in the Christian faith as a young Jesus People believer in the late 70s. This music video is the Alonzo Family's tribute to the Jesus People Movement sparked by Dad Bill and Mom Lil in the late 60s, early 70s. And the Alonzo's were caught up: Ate Nenet, Ate Alice, Kuya June, Nanay and Tatay, Ate Cynthia, Edit, Dory and Kuya Danny. We were grateful to JP pioneers and family friends who nourished us through the Kuriakos meetings in our house in Central Market: Ate Mo, Kuya Eric, Edison, Emma, Godo, Kuya Rollie, Ate Beckay, Rose, Andre, Kuya Boy A., Kuya Tony, Manny, etc. I miss those days when after worship, bible study, sharing time, prayers, we had meal fellowship in our house which brought us really closer as a family. The Lord has been really faithful!

A Prayer for God to Be Your Shield and Portion Today - Your Daily Prayer - May 24
I love this passage in the Bible because it sums up the spiritual reality in all difficult circumstances. How many times do we see the enemy and opposing forces against us, just like Elisha’s servant? And that puts us in a panic - yet the angelic armies of the Living God are unseen but present nonetheless, and far greater. We just need to see that substantial truth!
