Visalia Memorial Day

One thousand five hundred and thirty seven flags lined the road ways of the Visalia Public Cemetery. Thousands more marked the graves of Veterans from Visalia. Master of Ceremonies was played by Dr. Manuel Garcia, Lt. Colonel, USAR. Many guests spoke, sang and played patriotic music for the hundreds in attendance. The ceremony also included a placing of wreathes around a helmet and rifle. A rifle salute by the Corcoran Correctional Officers Rifle Squad and ended with a touching rendition of Taps. Joe "bazooka" Pietroforte was also in attendance.
