Menachem Perimutter, a civil engineer who lives in Negov, Israel, says he feels priviledged for his role in bringing about Israel's transformation and what has transpired in Israel since 1948 in reference to Israel's population from a barren desert region to a beautiful green pastures and farms lands. Perlmutter believes that if Israel as a state doesn't put an end to the desert, the desert will put an end to the State.
