'Amazing Grace' Instrumental Classic Hymn From Mass Anthem

The four men of Mass Anthem remind us of God’s never ending love with their instrumental performance of ‘Amazing Grace.’

This beloved hymn was originally written by John Newton. John wrote the hymn as a way of giving thanks to the Lord after He granted him new life.

As a sailor, John was known for his crude language and actions. But one day, John found himself caught in the middle of a terrible storm. After spending hours at the helm of the ship, John’s thoughts began to turn to God.

After surviving the weather, John started his life as a Christian and dedicated himself to serving our Father. The touching words of ‘Amazing Grace’ were inspired by this incredible revelation.

“Amazing Grace, How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now am found
T'was blind but now I see”

Today, the talented men of Mass Anthem are putting their own spin on this classic song.

Mass Anthem is a Christian band comprised of brothers Chad and Tyler Sowards, Joey Atansio and Jason Braun. Over the years, they’ve used their online platform to share the word of God through beautiful covers and inspiring original songs.

Just listen as they sit on church pews and play the iconic tune of ‘Amazing Grace.’

“T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed”

Each and every day, we are blessed by the love from our Lord. What a beautiful way to praise His Name.
