15-Year-Old Sings 'Homeward Bound' Classic Hymn

Listen to this 15-year-old sing the beautiful hymn ‘Homeward Bound.’

“In the quiet misty morning, when the moon has gone to bed
When the sparrows stop their singing, and the sky is clear and red
When the summer’s ceased its gleaming, when the corn is past its prime
When adventure’s lost its meaning, I’ll be homeward bound in time”

What a stunning performance! The girl singing in the video is named Hannah Elizabeth, and she is a 15-year-old sophomore in high school who absolutely loves to sing. According to her YouTube page, Hannah is a member of Rise Up Children's Choir directed by Scott and Ryceejo Shattuck. “She trains vocally with Dean Kaelin of Dean Kaelin Studios in Salt Lake City, Utah and Haley Wawro at Hale Vocal Studios as well as musical theater with UTAH COPA. She also enjoys dancing, baking, and musical theater.”

In the music video, Hannah sings in such an angelic way in front of a stunning setting with evergreen trees and mountains in the background. She is also seen walking beside a shiny lake while she beautifully sings out the lyrics of the song.

“With this season of Thanksgiving we are grateful to be ‘homeward bound.’ Either in person or in thought---home is always near,” reads the caption on Hannah’s YouTube page. “The words of this hymn have always been a favorite of Hannah's and she sings for all the family that is near and far this holiday season.”

“That was so beautiful, Hannah! I absolutely love it!” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “You just continue to wow me with your voice, and what you can do with it.”

“Your voice is absolutely angelic, and this video is so gorgeous! Stunning in every way!” writes another person online.
