The Father's Plea: He gave me the words, I sing them to share His love with you
These lyrics have been in my heart for many years, but it took me a while to realize that the words weren't mine. I now wish to share the message of love that God has been sharing with me:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” [ESV John 3:16-17]
“For the wages of sin is death . . . .” [ESV Romans 6:23]
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” [ESV Romans 3:23]
“ . . . but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” [ESV Romans 6:23]
“For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” [ESV 2 Corinthians 5:21]
“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” [ESV John 1:12]
