FedEx Driver Knew Where To Take A Lost Dog He Found & Security Cams Caught The Sweet Rescue

Not only does he know where to deliver packages, but one heroic FedEx driver knew where to take a lost dog during his workday. The dog’s family is ecstatic to have their beloved pet back safe and sound thanks to the kind delivery man.
The footage of the rescue was caught on the house’s Ring doorbell in Castle Pines, Colorado. You can see the moment that Catcher, a three-year-old golden retriever, ventures out of her house and disappears out of sight.

Catcher’s family was out of town, and they were having some repairs done to the house while they were gone. That’s when the front door blew open after a contractor left the house during his lunch break.
“The wind blew the door open while I was gone, and Catcher escaped,” says Lisa Menzies, the dog’s owner. “She could have wandered out to a busy road and you hate to think what’s going to happen then.”
FedEx Driver Finds Out Where To Take Lost Dog After She Escapes
Thankfully, a FedEx driver spotted Catcher while she was out of the house and brought her back home. FedEx alerted Lisa of the situation. They explained that the driver had read Catcher’s tag and returned her to the listed address.
“He interrupted his day and his package delivery schedule to pick her up and hand-carry her into our home and lock the door behind him,” Lisa explains. “I don’t want to think about where else she could have ended up.”

What an incredible rescue! Lisa and her family are extremely grateful for the care that the FedEx driver showed their dog, and they are so happy to have her back home!
